Why therapy?

While confiding in friends and family can feel safe, the people who are closest to you are often not objective and usually are untrained in the therapeutic process. Therapy provides you with an objective third-party ally to help work through life’s problems.

In addition to processing and problem-solving about current issues, therapy can offer you the opportunity to resolve past traumas and heal old wounds. When we have not resolved issues from the past, we are often not able to show up fully in the present. Because of this, we are less able to give our best effort in the here-and-now.

While it is not usually effective or worthwhile to talk spend a lot of time going over our old problems, effective therapies like EFT allow us to resolve these issues once and for all.
